Remember bedtime stories? I do! As a very little boy mom or dad would tuck me in and tell me a short story, sing a song, or recite a quick rhyme, Mary had a little lamb, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Goldy Locks, etc. Sometimes they would even tell a bible story. One thing I can recall vividly, is I never asked who originally wrote the stories or songs. Or what the stories actually meant. That is until I read the OT book of Jonah for myself.
Suddenly I began asking questions like “If this guy (Jonah) was so disobedient to God, and the story ends with him pouting about Gods grace. Angry at God! Then who wrote down this story?!?” Hope I have your attention, cuz you’re gonna need to swipe left to get the rest of the story. >>>1
