This claim is backed by Marduk working with Enlil in Sumerian texts. In Christianity, Satan is described as the adversary, which is similar to the role of Iblis (Islam’s devil) in Quranic texts. In the Canaanite mythology, Helel Ben Shahar was actually Marduk.
