Double tap to edit “Marduk” Marduk was known by many names throughout Mesopotamia for example in Egypt he was known as Amun RA or simply as RA, or Horus. In Babylon he was known as Nimrod, Gilgamesh, or simply as Marduk the chief god of Babylon.
Even though Baal and Marduk are two different entities, many referred to Marduk as Baal himself. To the babylonians, Marduk was the supreme god and his influence destroyed and conquered many cities throughout Mesopotamia in order for him to re-write history.
