[Scene cuts to Warrior at the Rock Quarry waiting for his barge to be loaded] Now, for this job I had to use my stronger tugs (so I took Warrior off garbage work to help Big Mac with the rock deliveries). QUARRY MASTER Yeah (Warrior)! What a promotion! Glad to see you off of garbage detail! WARRIOR Thanks! Big Mac and me will make a great team! We\u2019ll shift this lot quicker than the Z-Stacks! QUARRY MASTER Oh, I don\u2019t doubt it (Warrior)! But no accidents, eh? Give Big Mac a break. WARRIOR Me? I won\u2019t have no accidents (promise)! [He sets off with his barge.] QUARRY MASTER Right, well good luck then (Warrior)! And remember, be careful! [Warrior\u2019s barge bumps into him.] WARRIOR What? Whoops! \u2018Course I\u2019m careful! QUARRY MASTER I hope that isn\u2019t a bad start to the day (for ya (you))! WARRIOR I\u2019ll do me best Guv'nor! [He leaves the quarry.] No damage done. Right. Full speed ahead! WARRIOR Can't stop to argue who's fault it was. Scene 02: Izzy and Warrior [He sees Izzy Gomez sleeping in the estuary.] WARRIOR Hey, there\u2019s Izzy! What a bonus if I can tow him in as well. [He pulls up alongside Izzy.] Ahoy! Izzy Gomez! Wake up! IZZY GOMEZ \241\277S\355?! (Yes/Yeah/Yep?!) What time is it?! Oh (Warrior), it\u2019s you. WARRIOR Want a tow? I\u2019ll give you a good price. IZZY GOMEZ Ay-ay-ay. You wake me up to tell me funny jokes, eh? WARRIOR It\u2019s no joke. I\u2019ll give you a special rate. Say, 100? Scene 03: Sunshine, Little Ditcher & Pearl [Scene cuts to Sunshine, Little Ditcher and Pearl.] NARRATOR Sunshine, Little Ditcher, and Pearl were out dredging in the estuary. And this was a job Sunshine usually enjoyed. [Cut to Warrior approaching Sunshine, Little Ditcher and Pearl.] WARRIOR (Singing) Do, do, do. Making good time, all going well\u2026 SUNSHINE Oh dear. Hey! Stop dredging! Say Warrior! WARRIOR [stops near Sunshine, Little Ditcher and Pearl] Oh! Morning fellas\u2026 and Pearl. It looks like it\u2019s gonna be a great day. [His barge bumps into him again.] SUNSHINE Oi, look out! Oh, hey! Whoops. What\u2019d ya (you) doing? WARRIOR Oh! You noticed! No more garbage for me (at least for now). Captain Star has put me on the rock contract for the new rock foundations. Just what was to be expected (really). Being such a powerful tug and all. Well, gotta go now. Bye! [He sets off.] SUNSHINE Aye, congratulations there (Warrior)! PEARL Congratulations (Warrior)! [Warrior\u2019s barge hits Little Ditcher and causes him to spin uncontrollably.] LITTLE DITCHER Oh dear! Oh dear! SUNSHINE Oh dear me! Hey (Little Ditcher), are you alright? LITTLE DITCHER A bit dizzy\u2026 [Pearl laughs.] SUNSHINE Hey, you gotta laugh though, eh? Look Pearl, he\u2019s gonna become the 1st floating Merry-Go-Round, eh?! [He and Pearl laugh.] LITTLE DITCHER (Sarcastically) Oh aye, thanks a lot (Warrior)! WARRIOR Can\u2019t stop. Bye! Scene 04: Warrior at the Old Docks [Scene cuts to the Coast Guard reverses and stops next to Ten Cents at the old docks.] COAST GUARD Stand by to receive deliveries! ZIP Here comes "Mr. Demolition" himself! (Laughs) WARRIOR [arrives] Hiya (guys)! Morning (Coast Guard)! Where do you want me to dump this little lot\u2026 [Stops abruptly and his barge bumps into him] Oomph! [Zip and Zug laugh.] COAST GUARD Right here. One of the cranes can unload it. WARRIOR [looks around] Where\u2019s the empty barge for the return trip? COAST GUARD You\u2019re the first in, you\u2019ll have to go back empty to the quarry. TEN CENTS You\u2019re too quick for us (Warrior)! WARRIOR Great! I\u2019ll do a couple of deliveries before I go back. Get some more money for Captain Star! Scene 05: Tugs offer Izzy a Tow [Scene cuts to Izzy Gomez still sleeping in the estuary. Big Mac pulls up next him with an empty barge and blows his hooter.] BIG MAC Well if it isn\u2019t my old amigo (Izzy)! Want a tow? IZZY GOMEZ Eh, you Stars never let anyone siesta in peace. I already tell Warrior I no need no tow\u2026 BIG MAC Don't blow your stack, I only asked! You already promised a tow to another tug? IZZY GOMEZ Eh, em. See, listen. I don\u2019t need you tugs fussing around me all the time, okay?! BIG MAC Sorry I asked. Go back to sleep (Izzy). [He leaves.] IZZY GOMEZ [tries to go back to sleep (but is woken up by the sound of Zorran, Zebedee and Zak passing by with two barges)] You wanna tow me as well, eh Z-stacks? ZORRAN Get lost (Izzy)! I think I try to sail into port without a tow\u2026 Scene 06: Big Mac at the Quarry [Scene cuts to Big Mac at the Quarry waiting for his barge to be loaded with rocks.] BIG MAC Keep going! I can carry more than that! QUARRY MASTER When you\u2019re loaded up, say "when". [Zorran, Zebedee and Zak arrive.] ZORRAN You\u2019re taking on a lot there (Big Mac)! Eh, heh! BIG MAC Nothing to do with you with how much I carry. ZORRAN Eh heh. Just commenting, that\u2019s all. Weren\u2019t we, lads? ZEBEDEE Oh, right. Up to him if he thinks he can tow that much. BIG MAC Three Zero harbour tugs just to pull two barges! Warrior and I have got you licked! Two of us can pull that much! ZORRAN Quality and quantity. Keep making insulting remarks about Warrior to get Big Mac angry (so as to forget his barge was still loading and settling dangerously low in the water). ZORRAN Yeah, I mean. Why doesn\u2019t Captain Star sell Warrior off? He\u2019s worse than useless! BIG MAC What? Useless?! He\u2019s one of the best workers in the port! Just you remember that (Zorran)! Scene 07: Izzy Gets Stuck [Scene cuts to Ten Cents pulling down another building at the Old Docks.] ZUG Very good (Ten Cents)! Now try pulling down a bigger one! ZIP Or we\u2019ll show you how it\u2019s done! [He and Zug laugh.] COAST GUARD Come on (you lot)! [Izzy Gomez's hooter is heard in the distance.] TEN CENTS [turns his wheelhouse and sees Izzy rushing towards the port] Here, what\u2019s Izzy up to, coming in on his own? He doesn\u2019t own the channel! ZIP No tug (Izzy)! That\u2019s illegal! ZUG And stupid! TEN CENTS [reverses and blows his hooter to grab Izzy's attention] Oi (Izzy)! You\u2019re too close to the shore! IZZY GOMEZ \241Arriba! \241Arriba! \241Arriba! (Above! Above! Above!) You guys are always trying to tell me I need a tow! Move out of my way please! TEN CENTS But there's new rock foundations! IZZY GOMEZ [runs aground and lands on top of the rocks] Eh? What\u2019s happened? Eehhh!!!! NARRATOR Ten Cents saw that he was beginning to list, and might capsize. TEN CENTS Quick! Scuttlebutt! Mighty Mo! Gimme a line or I won\u2019t be able to stop him over! ZIP I\u2019ll give you a hand. [He and Zug back away.] ZUG No wait, wait! [Zip and Zug stop.] It\u2019s your salvage (Ten Cents). You claim it all! TEN CENTS Look, never mind salvage. We need your help too! Come on! ZUG You can do it (Ten Cents)! (Chuckles) ZIP We\u2019ve got to help, he can\u2019t manage! ZUG Right. We\u2019ll salvage both. Scene 08: The Rock Barge Sinks [Scene cuts to Big Mac and Grampus out in the estary.] BIG MAC Shouldn\u2019t have let Zorran trick me into taking such a heavy load (Grampus). GRAMPUS You\u2019re doing alright. Just keep it nice and steady. BIG MAC Good thing the harbour's so flat today. Any waves and this barge would be awash and sink for sure. GRAMPUS Yes, you\u2019re lucky\u2026 Oh no! [Warrior rushes towards them at a fast pace.] BIG MAC Warrior! Slow down! GRAMPUS Dive! Dive! WARRIOR Hey! Big Mac! We\u2019ll beat those Z-Stacks! I\u2019ll have another load in no time! BIG MAC Warrior! Watch out! Your wake can sink my barge! [Waves rush over his barge and it sinks.] Warrior! Warrior! WARRIOR [stops] What\u2019s happened? BIG MAC I told you to slow down! Your wash sank my barge! WARRIOR But I\u2026 Big Mac\u2026 Sorry! BIG MAC You\u2019ll have to get a crane. I\u2019ll back up to mark the spot where the barge sank. Scene 09: Top Hat and Lord Stinker [Scene cuts Ten Cents, Mighty Mo and Scuttlebutt Pete attempting to rescue Izzy Gomez.] NARRATOR Izzy was in a dangerous situation. He could have gone over (if Ten Cents hadn\u2019t been quick witted) and thrown a couple of lines around the old buildings to keep the tramp steamer upright. Ha. "Old Izzy" was some handful. [Izzy starts to lean to one side.] TEN CENTS Look out! He\u2019s slipping! Keep your ropes taught or we\u2019ll all go down! NARRATOR It was clear that Ten Cents and the cranes were not going to be enough to hold Izzy. One rope was already giving way! TEN CENTS Come on (Zip)! Zug! Help me out! ZUG I'll have to go ask Captain Zero! It\u2019s your salvage. TEN CENTS Never mind salvage! Tugs should help each other! COAST GUARD I\u2019ll get help. I\u2019ll get Big Mac. [He leaves.] TOP HAT: [arrives with Lord Stinker] Ten Cents? Are you alright? Why aren\u2019t those two idiots helping you?! TEN CENTS Zip and Zug? They're waiting for me to become a pile of junk! ZIP and ZUG Oh, no, no! TOP HAT Yes, well I\u2019ll report them for this. ZUG What for?! Ten Cents said it was his salvage! He did! Didn\u2019t he Zip?! ZIP Well, yes. Yes. TEN CENTS Yeah, well you said that. Not me! TOP HAT I can\u2019t get under there (Ten Cents). I\u2019m too tall. But Lord Stinker can fit. [He pushes Lord Stinker up against Izzy\u2019s hull.] IZZY GOMEZ Phwoar! What a stink! I\u2019d rather sink! [A rope starts to snap apart and he drifts back.] Oi! \241Ay-ay-ay! Scene 10: Warrior to the Rescue ZUG I think it\u2019s time we took over (Zip). ZIP Ready when you are! WARRIOR [rushes past Zip and Zug] Ten Cents! Hang on (Ten Cents)! ZIP Great timing (Zug)! You\u2019ve blown it! WARRIOR Hang on (Ten Cents)! I\u2019ll have you out of there in a jiffy! [He pushes up against Izzy\u2019s hull.] TEN CENTS No! Wait (Warrior)! It\u2019s too risky! Too dangerous! Back off! Or you\u2019ll go under with me! WARRIOR Not if I can help it! [He starts to push Izzy upright.] TEN CENTS (Warrior) You\u2019re doing it! Izzy\u2019s moving! TOP HAT I don\u2019t believe that I\u2019m saying this (but good work (Warrior))! [Ten Cents and Warrior start to push Izzy upright.] ZUG It looks as though we\u2019ve lost our salvage! Oh (or maybe not)! [A ropes snap and Izzy starts to fall again.] TEN CENTS Oh, look after yourself (Warrior)! Get clear! [Izzy falls towards Warrior (but Warrior pushes back).] WARRIOR I\u2019m not gonna mess this up! [He pushes harder and manages to move Izzy away from him. The tugs then hear Big Mac's hooter.] BIG MAC [arrives and positions himself in between Ten Cents and Warrior] Need a hand here (fellas)? Ah Warrior, looks like he\u2019s got it under control. TEN CENTS Ah, I couldn\u2019t have lasted this long without him! WARRIOR Mighty Mo! Scuttlebutt! Take the strain on these ropes! MIGHTY MO Aye, aye (Gov'ner). SCUTTLEBUTT PETE Got them (Warrior)! WARRIOR Push! NARRATOR The hulk of Izzy Gomez (full of bananas) was at last forced back off the rocks by the three Star Tugs. GRAMPUS and COAST GUARD [arrive] You\u2019ve done it! BIG MAC I reckon this makes up for sinking my barge (Warrior)! TEN CENTS I reckon it makes up for everything! Scene 11: The Z-Stacks in Trouble [Zorran, Zebedee and Zak arrive.] ZORRAN What\u2019s up here? Another one of Warrior\u2019s disasters, eh? WARRIOR Now, look here (you guys)! It was\u2026 COAST GUARD Ignore them (Warrior). We all know it wasn\u2019t your fault. It\u2019s you Zeros that are the disasters. ZORRAN What?! COAST GUARD Zip and Zug have lost you your chance at the rock contract. Their behaviour has been despicable! TOP HAT I couldn\u2019t have put it better myself! COAST GUARD As for you (Izzy). I\u2019ll report this. Coming in without a tow means a hefty fine! [Ten Cents and Warrior laugh. Scene cuts to Warrior towing an empty barge.] Scene 12: Old Rusty WARRIOR It would be nice to prove to Captain Star that, I can handle a lot more jobs on my own. I\u2019ve made 14 trips today and no more mistakes since this morning. At least no more that I know of\u2026 Getting tired now. Can hardly keep my eyes open\u2026 [He falls asleep and bumps into Old Rusty.] Old Rusty Ow\u2026 WARRIOR You stupid old rust tub! Why don\u2019t you look where you\u2019re going? OLD RUSTY What do you mean "where am I going?" I've been anchored off here for 2 YEARS! WARRIOR Oh, well yes. Sorry. It\u2019s been a long day. I must have dozed off. OLD RUSTY [laughs and wheezes as Warrior reverses away from him] Oh, clumsy old tug, that Warrior. But it wouldn't half be boring without him (Laughs and wheezes).
