No because not everyone can afford "nice clothes" or whatever. They might not feel comfortable wearing the clothes you would expect guests would be wearing. People forget everyone have different needs and gets offended by that fact.

No. Wedding is place where we celebrate and have fun because of two people becoming one marriage. Why would I get mad for someone to come in more comfy clothes ?
