jANUs/jANUary Janus, also known as Anu, is refer to as the one whose face looks to the future and the other to the past. Janus is the Two-Faced God of beginnings, limits, doors, gateways, and departure. The month of January along with its customs for renewal come from the Roman God Janus. The name of Anu is literally hidden in the word January (J”anu”ary) dedicated to Anu and initiated by dictator Julius Caesar (also a month dedicated to him — July —) of the Roman Empire, who switched us from the 13 month calendar to the 12 month Gregorio Calendar which we are still on today. Julius Caesar also being a descendent of the Roman God “Venus” also known as “Inanna/Ishtar” (Easter Holiday), Grand grand daughter of Anu. The Roman Goddess Cybele is known as Ki; symbolizes Earth Mother and consort of Anu. The Keys of Heaven symbolizes the Keys of Janus & Cybele (Anu & Ki) which is when Anu gives the power to the Pope to anoint people thinking they have a divine right to rule. Anu is still the God of the Roman Catholic Church till this day.
